Here is some general information on the site and on tcgs in general.What is a TCG?
A TCG (Trading Card Game) is exactly what it sounds like - it's an online card game where you can earn cards and trade with other members to collect and master your favorite decks. The concept of online TCGs was originally thought up by Calico. TCGs made it's debut when Calico opened the very first TCG, Senshi Card-Mania!, a TCG dedicated to the Japanese Anime, Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon. Since then, hundreds of TCGs spawned from Calico's original creation, of every subject you can think of: from anime, music, even food!Why Amity?
I had a hard time thinking up a name for this site (since all the good ones were taken! XD) and I finally decided on Amity while glancing through a dictionary. –noun1. friendship; peaceful harmony.
2. mutual understanding and a peaceful relationship, esp. between nations; peace; accord. I have made many good friends the last few years while playing TCGs, so I've always considered the TCG community to be a peaceful one and an interesting way to make new friends.
